Hi! I’m Michael and I’m six years old with mild autism, but I don’t let autism stop me. I have a ZEST for life! A part from autism, you could say that I’m a typical little boy. I love to go outside and play and run super-fast! I also love to sky-dive off of furniture, kick my legs and stomp my feet, and play with my favorite toys. I may have a few quirks about me such as flapping my hands, walking on tiptoes, and tilting my head to understand what is being said, but overall – I’m a HAPPY autistic child.
I do require speech therapy and occupational therapy along with lots of love, hugs, and kisses, especially, hugs and kisses to keep me growing strong and healthy. My mom does a great job of supporting my needs and giving me hugs and kisses. She often calls me her “Bluebird” which Bluebirds can be characterized as “bluebirds of happiness” representing joy, harmony, and positivity.
I trust that I will bring you much joy and happiness when you read my books. 😊
