As we approach the month of April, recognized as Autism Awareness month, let us tenderly remind others in our communities the importance of autism awareness, and how their help, support, prayers, and encouragement is positively appreciated and needed as we, parents, cope and navigate through life with children with autism.

We know as parents with autistic children that society and our communities have absolutely no clue of what we go through and deal with on a daily basis. This can be exhausting and heartbreaking to constantly explain to others about your autistic child and his or her needs.

We must continue to lean on one another and support one another in the autism community; standing steadfast and believing that by God's grace and strength we can get through the challenges of autism. With God's help, and with the help and support from others, we can make it, and our children can flourish in life.
