The true know-it-all's

"We" parents. Yes, us. We just know it all, don't we? We have all the right

answers, and all the right solutions, huh? We know just what our kid

need and don't need. And no one can tell us differently; not even our very

own parents, that 80-year-old family member, our kid's pediatric doctor,

that tenured teacher with 20 + years of working in the school system, or our

kid's guidance counselor who writes up the many evaluations and reports

to recommend seeing someone who may know slightly more than they do.

Ha! Yeah, right! "We" parents, along with the majority of adults, even in their professions, know fairly little about these little humans who are all different in their own personalities and who are demanding as ever!

I've heard so many parents say, "bedtime -is my favorite time of the day."

I know that's right! That's the only time when our little rascals can settle down and go to sleep; allowing us to get a much-needed break and relief!

"Kids" are the true geniuses that know it all. They know if they're going to

lie and play sick the very next day so Mommy can say, "Ok, baby. Stay home."

(I actually did this to my mom so much when I was little that I became so good

at pretending! Sorry, Mom! LOL.) They know if they're going to throw their famous and well-played temper tantrum so Daddy can buy them whatever they want - kids know. And we don't know diddly squat about their mind games, intentions, or mere amusement just to get a kick out of us - the adults who know very little. 🤔
